PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer and a garbage disposal method wherein the ability of microbially decomposing garbage is maintained and the disposal can be stably performed. SOLUTION: This disposer comprises a section 1 that dries garbage and a section 2 that microbially decomposes the garbage and has a constitution by which garbage is dried in the section 1 and the dried garbage is microbially decomposed in the section 2.
