PURPOSE: A method for removing impurities and malodor generated from a paper sludge by using a detergent such as caustic soda is provided which makes it possible to reuse paper waste at low cost. CONSTITUTION: In a process for changing paper waste as useless waste to reusable sludge, a detergent such as caustic soda is added to the sludge and then heated at 100deg.C for 20 to 30min to remove an offensive smell and impurities.
