PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition with high dielectric constant, high Q value in a high frequency region, and small temperature coefficient by containing Ba, Sr, Zn, Nb, and O in a specified composition ratio. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a dielectric ceramic composition expressed with a formula (Ba1-uSru)xZnyNbzOw wherein 0.60<=u<=0.85, 0.485<=x<=0.500, 0.140<=y<=0.150, 0.350<=z<=0.360, y+z=0.5, the reason why x is limited to 0.5 while y+Z is set to be 0.5, in other words, the total amount of Ba and Sr is set to be equal to or less than the total amount of Zn and Nb, is that Q value becomes large if the value (x) is larger than the defined level and the Q value become desirably high value if the value (x) is smaller than 0.485. Meanwhile, if the value(u) is smaller than 0.6, the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency becomes too high to the positive side and on the contrary, the value is higher than 0.85, the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency becomes too high to the negative side. |
