PURPOSE: A method for remotely managing the home appliances using the Internet is provided to manage the use frequency, the history and the errors of the home appliances at a remote site through the Internet and to solve the troubles by making a serviceman of a manufacturer go out to an error occurring place. CONSTITUTION: A home server transmits the data generated during the sampling cycle to a DB server at each sampling cycle(S402). The DB server stores the data by classifying into each manufacturer, product and model of the home appliances(S404). In case that the error code is included to the data(S405), the data relating to the error is classified and stored(S406). The manufacturer accesses to the DB server through the Internet at a fixed time interval, downloads the DB data of the corresponding manufacturer and prints out the DB data by analyzing the DB data and making the analyzed DB data into the statistics data. |
