<p>The fender consists of a cylinder (4) of plastic foam that is sufficiently compact to resist impacts with various objects without deteriorating, attached to two transverse bars (3) on the lower frame of a shopping trolley. It is injection-moulded to the dimensions of the trolley frame, has two inner channels for the bars and slits forming outer (5) and central (6) sections that fit respectively over and between the frame bars. The fender is fitted by sliding it in place over the bars and is held in place by frame side bars (1).</p> |
