摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent a diffusing plate arranged between a direct lower type light source and a liquid crystal display from warping and sagging. CONSTITUTION: Drying conditions of the diffusion plate SCT on the side of the liquid crystal display and on the light source side are made identical by arranging a transparent sheet TPS on the surface of the diffusing plate SCT, opposite to the light source (a cold cathode fluorescent lamp CFL) and by sticking entire lengths of, or at least respective partial lengths of four edges on the peripheries of the transparent sheet TPS and the diffusion plate SCT together with a double-sided adhesive tape or the like, to make the interval between the two either completely or incompletely hermetically sealed with respect to air.
