PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system that relieves a load of data transmission on a user and the system and can effectively utilize an information terminal in areas other than the specific area. SOLUTION: When a user operates an operation entry section 14 of a mobile phone D and accesses a center server A via a base station B and selects desired data from the menu picture displayed on a display circuit 16 and requests downloading, the center server A makes wired connection to a transmitter E via a wired exchange C and stores downloaded data to a memory circuit 3 of the transmitter E. When a connection terminal 8 of the transmitter E and a connection terminal 11 of the mobile phone D are connected by a 16-cored common cable, a CPU 4 of the transmitter E transmits the downloaded data recorded in the memory circuit 3 to the mobile phone D via the connection terminal 8.
