PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a frame member which has such sufficient rigidity as not to cause deformation due to the weight of glass. SOLUTION: According to the curtain wall frame member 3 including a box portion 3a as a part of a cross section, fitting grooves 32 are formed at four corners of the box portion 3a, and reinforcing plates 34 are inserted into the box portion by fitting both edges of the reinforcing plates 34 into the fitting grooves 32, respectively.
