PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a flat solid-phase sheet and has high dimensional accuracy by reducing material loss from melting liquid of a metal material or a semiconductor material. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the solid-phase sheet from the melting liquid of a metal material or a semiconductor material, the solid- phase sheet 3 is formed on a substrate surface by bringing the surface of the flat substrate 1 into contact with the melting liquid. The substrate surface is divided into a peripheral section 26 and an inner section 1-G by a peripheral groove 12 that is provided at the inner side from its periphery. Then, the solid- phase sheet grown at its inner section is used as a product. |
