PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable multiplex connection by identifying units for multiplexing with simple constitution when many connections are subjected to handling, in communication equipment which is suitable for being used to perform communication by a 1+1 protection system in a connection type network. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with an identification part 3c for identifying a connection group constituted of at least one or more connections wherein the 1+1 protection system is applied and a common multiplex path is set, and a selection part 3d which selects, on the basis of identification information from the identification part 3c, effective paths in the 1+1 protection system, in the connection group unit. |
