PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card holding mechanism for holding a card key between a pair of plates for keeping the operating condition until the card key is pulled out after the card key is inserted to put the operating mechanism in the operating condition. SOLUTION: In this card holding mechanism, a cam means 5 formed by a plate spring material is pivotally mounted on a core 8, a plate cam part 5b is provided to be engaged with a card 3, and a bent cam part 5a is provided with a free end 5c engaged with a rear plate 7. When the plate cam part 5b is engaged with the card 3, the bent cam part 5a is engaged with the rear plate 7 to keep the core 8 in the operating position, and with the movement of the card 3, the core 8 is moved so that the free end 5c of the bent cam part 5a is locked in a projection 7a of the rear plate 7 to put the core in the non-operating position, thereby keeping the unlocked state. |
