PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly receive transmitted data by precisely adapting an equalizer at a reception side at the time of performing millimeter wave band communication by using quadrature modulation. SOLUTION: Signals obtained by operating the quadrature modulation of transmission data as I components and an already known PN sequence as Q components are transmitted from a transmitter side. Those signals received by a receiver 30 are divided into a real part Re and an imaginary part Im, and supplied to an equalizer 320, and also supplied to an I correlation circuit 318 and a Q correlation circuit 306. On the other hand, a PN sequence which is the same as that at the transmitter side is generated by a generator 300, and supplied to the I correlation circuit 318 and the Q correlation circuit 306. In the I correlation circuit 318 and the Q correlation circuit 306, a rate and time difference between the leakage of the Q components to an I-ch and the Q components constituted of direct waves and a rate and time difference between the Q components constituted of indirect waves and the Q components constituted of direct waves in a Q-ch are calculated based on the supplied real part Re and imaginary part Im and the PN sequence. Then, the equalizer 320 is adapted by data obtained by the I correlation circuit 318 and the Q correlation circuit 306. |
