PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal detecting device whose power consumption and costs are low by reducing the power consumption and the number of components of an external detecting circuit. SOLUTION: A power supply voltage VDD2 which is lower than a power supply voltage VDD1 to be supplied to a signal detecting panel is supplied to an external detecting circuit 6. A transistor formed on a silicon substrate is used for a transistor constituting the external detecting circuit 6 so that it is possible to operate the transistor on a lower voltage than that of a thin film transistor formed in the signal detecting panel, and it is not necessary to provide any circuit having a voltage transforming function. |
