PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a play of sensor axis in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The torque sensor is provided with sensor axis 11, magnetic anisotropy parts 16 and 17, coils 20, 21, 22a and 22b form magnetizing the detecting them, a sensor case 13 for containing the magnetic anisotropy parts 16 and 17 and the coils and a first and a second bearings 26 and 27 freely rotating the sensor axis with respect to the sensor case 13. The sensor case 13 is provided with a first facing part 18 facing one end surface of the first bearing 26. Between the one end surface of the first bearing 26 and the first facing part 18, an elastic body 1 causing a press force in parting direction of them is provided. The sensor case 13 gently hold only the first bearing 26 at a degree making 11 movable by the press force of the elastic body 1, while the sensor axis 11 holds the first bearing 26, so as not to move it against the press force of the elastic body 1.
