PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional damper pulley manufacturing technology that it needs the work for coating an adhesive such as a primer to adhere metal and rubber, and needs the equipment and a process for applying and drying the adhesive, and the countermeasure for preventing the bad influence of an organic solvent included in the adhesive on a human body and the environment, which causes the increase of the cost of manufacturing the damper pulley. SOLUTION: The damper pulley 22 is manufactured through a process for executing the plating 4, 8 onto adhesive surfaces of metallic member 2, 10 with a rubber vibration absorbing member 20, a process for accommodating plated metallic members into dies 6, 12, a process for filling a space 14 in the dies with an unvulcanized rubber compound 18, and a process for vulcanizing the filled unvulcanized rubber compound. This method dispenses with the equipment and the process for coating and drying the adhesive, and the countermeasure to the organic solvent, whereby the manufacturing cost of the damper pulley can be reduced.
