METHOD FOR PRODUCING WATER-PROOF FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a water-proof fabric which does not have pores and spaces in a resin layer and has an excellent water-proof property and excellent flexibility. SOLUTION: This method for producing the water-proof fabric comprises a process for impregnating or coating a base fabric comprising a base fiber fabric with a flexible polymer material-containing resin emulsion and then drying the base fabric and a process for heat-pressing the treated base fabric at higher temperatures by >=20 deg.C than the softening temperature of the impregnated or coated resin layer and at a pressure of >=0.1 MPa. The processes are preferably repeated several times.
