PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diet support system capable of improving the success rate of a diet by preparing a mechanism for allowing a user to retain an incentive. SOLUTION: This diet support system is provided with a user database 42 for storing diet related data transmitted from a user personal computer 18 through the Internet 16 while making the diet related data correspond to the user, a means for extracting the data from the database 42, applying needed working to the data and transmitting the data to the personal computer 18 when the personal computer 18 outputs a reading request for data with respect to the user himself/herself, a contest information database 48 for storing information about a diet contest, and a means for extracting the data from the database 42, applying needed working to the data and transmitting the data to the personal computer 18 when the personal computer 18 outputs a reading request for data about a participating user. |
