PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of conventional supervisory camera systems tending to cause a supervisory mistakes, because the conventional system has only displayed a photographed video signal and manually detected and discriminated a moving object. SOLUTION: In the optical image detector of this system, two image data changeover means 9 select image signals photographed by four photographing means 1, each comprising a camera or the like and give the result to two object extract means 10 placed at a post-stage of the image data changeover means 9 to form two sets of object extract information and an object position deciding means 11 which composites the sets of the object extract information and decides on the coordinate positions on a map and a display means 12 displays the composited object information.
