RECORDING METHOD FOR RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for a recording medium that prevents video reproduction from becoming stereotyped and maintains freshness of the video contents over a long time. SOLUTION: The recording medium has data areas and index areas and the data areas record a plurality of objects, including moving image data. The index areas include sub areas and each sub area records a group of recording addresses abstracted from a plurality of the objects recorded in the data areas (Figure 8 (a)), a flag denoting random reproduction of them and number of random reproduction times (Figure 8 (b)).
