PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that enables an operator to recognize the transmission result of faxing, without the need for visit to the communication terminal. SOLUTION: The communication terminal is provided with an original read section 9, an image memory 4, and a control section 1 that allows the original read section 9, stores the read image to the image memory 4, allows the operation section 8 to enter a destination and an operator information, faxes the image stored in the image memory 4 to a destination, and transmits the result of transmission to an electronic mail address, corresponding to the operator information by means of electronic mail.
