PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device which can be inputted with character information in spite of ending of sound recording of audio data which is the main data on the way of the inputting of the character information and can surely record the same. SOLUTION: The audio data device has an additional information input mode for recording name of certain music together with the audio data according to an input operation during sound recording of the audio data of the music to an MD. In the additional information input mode, a CPU of a microcomputer section 10 suspends the sound recording operation relating to the audio data before the inputting of the name of the music ends in the state the sound recording of the audio data of this music ends regardless of the state the inputting of the name of the music is not ended.
