PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a scene visible when actually passing a road synchronously with a proceeding speed when proceeding along the road on a map screen and to enable a pseudo on-site investigation and sightseeing on business without visiting a site. SOLUTION: A map route probing section searches for route data to a selected destination on the map screen and sends the route data to an image retrieving section. The image retrieving section retrieves a road traffic visual image file corresponding to the route data from an image data storage section, sends it to an image reproduction processing section, and reproduces and displays it on a user terminal. |
