RECOVERY OF INITIAL PACKET TRANSMITTED BY TRANSMISSION IN PACKET TRANSMISSION SYSTEM WITH RETURN CHANNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable restoration at extremely high speed by using an arithmetic operation which is not so complicated regarding a first packet transmitted by a terminal when connection of a system with a network head is established. SOLUTION: This invention relates to an interactive packet transmission system of the TDMA with a return channel between terminals and the network head. This invention relates to a method for recovering the first packet transmitted by a terminal for connection to the system. In accordance with the recovery, the transmitted data are searched for by performing successive correlations in variable computing windows along the received packet by using a known header. The correlation commutations are solely performed on the optimal over-samples while the estimation of the initial sampling instant is previously effected for each windows considered.
