PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light spot scanning/controlling device capable of performing focusing control and tracking control for a light spot with high precision. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a movable holder 1 which is elastically supported on a base 17, a turntable 4 which is freely rotated on the movable holder 1, a condensing means 16 which is provided in an eccentric position on the turntable, light beam deflecting means 14 and 15 for guiding a light beam 26 passing through a rotary shaft center 400 to the condensing means 16, a rotor magnet 7 which is provided in the turntable 4, a stator having an armature coil 11 which faces the rotor magnet and is provided in the movable holder 1, and a light spot scanning/controlling means which is provided between the movable holder 1 and the base 17 via a slight gap and performs focusing control and tracking control for a light spot 27 from the condensing means 16. The movable holder 1 can be moved in the focusing and tracking directions.
