PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit or woven fabric having high water-absorption, excellent strength, durability and shape stability and good feeling such as hand feeling and appearance such as designability. SOLUTION: This fabric has triple or more of textures. A chenille yarn is used in at least one of the textures and is exposed on at least one surface of the knit or woven fabric.
