PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new herbicide. SOLUTION: This sulfon amide is expressed by formula (1) (wherein, A is a 5-membered substituted or un-substituted heterocyclic aromatic ring; Q is O or S; Y is nitrogen or CR9 group; R1 is an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, a heterocyclyl, a benzoheterocyclyl or an amino group which may be substituted if necessary; R2 is H, an alkyl or a carboxylic acyl which may be substituted if necessary, or SO2R1 group; R3, R4 are the same or different and each H, a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, a cycloalkyl or an amino group which may be substituted if necessary, or a heterocyclyl group which may be substituted if necessary; and R9 is H or an alkyl which may be substituted if necessary).
