<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of extracting the characteristic quantity for kind discrimination on a bladed aircraft target by solving the problem of incapability of determining whether the number of blades is an even number or an odd number by folding back of a frequency distribution in the case of a low pulse repeating frequency because of disusing Doppler. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a first threshold detector 1 for detecting flash by providing some first threshold in a reception signal, a second threshold detector 2 for detecting flash by providing a second threshold lower than the first threshold, a flash frequency determiner 3 for calculating flash detection frequencies of the first threshold detector and the second threshold detector, and a blade number evenness-oddness determiner 4 for comparing the flash frequencies corresponding to each threshold acquired by the flash frequency determiner, and determining that the number of blades of a rotor is an odd number when the frequency on the first threshold is a double of the frequency on the second threshold, and that the number of blades is an even number when both frequencies are equal.</p> |
