PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin fuel tank constituted to compatibly realize welding strength and barrier performance of high grade. SOLUTION: This synthetic resin fuel tank 1 comprises a laminated material of heat weldable materials (main material layers 1a and 1b) and an HC(hydrocarbon) barrier material (barrier layer 1c) and is provided with an opening 3 to which an accessory (vent valve 2) having a part (surface layer 2d) formed of the HC barrier material is heat-welded. The opening is formed by cutting of a swelling part 4 formed into an outward projection along a single plane S and the HC barrier material layer (annular bite part 2a) is matched with the HC barrier material exposed to the cut end face and the accessory is heat-welded to the heat weldable material layer exposed to the cut end face. After securing the welding strength, this constitution can suppress the HC transmission from the heat weldable material layer.
