PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum silent chain to reduce the width of the silent chain, decrease the number of parts, and reduce weight and correspond to the silent chain. SOLUTION: The silent chain 1 comprises a guide plate 2 situated on the inner side in the direction of the width of the chain; link assemblies 3 at least one at each of the two sides of the guide plate; and an outer link plate 6 situated on two outermost sides. The parts are assembled in a finger combination state in a longitudinal direction, and bendably intercoupled by a coupling pin 7. The link assembly body 3 forms integral structure that at least two inner link plates 4 having a pair of teeth engaged with the teeth of the sprocket are interconnected through a pair of bushes 5.
