PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system that eliminates the need for complicated operations, enabling a user to simply able to take part in a video conference. SOLUTION: The video conference system comprises user PCs 100 of users, digital cameras 120 each connected to each user PC 100 via a cradle 110, a video conference server 130, and the Internet 150, that interconnects the user PCs 100 and the video conference server 130. Each user PC 100 has a video conference program for the video conference, when the digital camera 120 is loaded to the cradle 110 and connection of the digital camera 120 to the user PC 100 is a two-way communication available state is detected, the video conference program is automatically started and a moving image photographed by both the digital cameras 100 of both speech parties is displayed on display devices of both the user PCs 100 to enable video conference. |
