PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide widening equipment for the bundle of reinforcing fiber capable of uniformly opening a bundle of various fiber into a desired width without adding a twist to a constituting fiber and capable of producing a reinforcing fiber sheet having a uniform basis weight in width direction. SOLUTION: This widening equipment for the bundle of reinforcing fiber forming the reinforcing fiber sheet widening plural parallely-arranged running bundles of the reinforcing fiber by making it contact with surfaces of one or more widening bars, installs a bar (1) for widening with a slope having an integrally formed slope (2) at least on the end of a downstream side. The slope (2) having length of 30-60 mm and a shape of a cone tapered to inside is installed on the position corresponding to both edge parts of a reinforcing fiber sheet (S) and its peripheral face forms a slope (2a). The inclination of the slope (2a) is set to 1/200-1/25.
