PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaker, and a system and a method capable of easily changing information about its rated pug. SOLUTION: A microcomputer in an electronic trip device 27 receives information about a new current rating from a vender system 116 through the WWW110, and can renew information about the current ratings of rated plugs 7, 125. Since a program in a breaker 10 can detect an error existing in the information about the new current ratings, the breaker can be reset to a safe operating mode by eliminating it. A fee charging system 118 is connected to the vender system 116, and a fee based on transmission of the information about the new current ratings can be computed.
