PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain hat effectively preventing the inward intrusion of rainwater through the sewn part between a top member and a stem member, and also effectively preventing the intrusion of rainwater through the connecting sewn part between the stem member and a brim member. SOLUTION: This rain hat is constituted with a top member 1 comprising a lining 1a and a surface cloth 1b, a stem member 2 comprising a lining 2a and a surface cloth 2b, a brim member 3 attached on the periphery of the stem member 2 annularly, and a belt-shaped surrounding member 4 and a belt member 5 placed on the jointing part X between the foot 2c of the stem member 2 and the brim member 3. These members 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are integrally constructed by sewing with a sewing machine or the like. The letters Q indicate sewn parts. The linings 1a and 2a of the top member 1 and the stem member 2 use a mesh-shaped polyester fiber. The surface cloths 1b and 2b of the top member 1 and the stem member 2 use a waterproof fiber material such as nylon fiber.
