PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emergency light lighting device that can reduce the number of parts and wiring locations by displaying the charge state of multiple batteries by one LED display means and can simplify the charge check by only one location, and can prevent check confirmation error. SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises a normal lighting circuit 1 that normally lights the discharge lamp LA by the service AC power source E and an emergency lighting circuit 2 that lights the above discharge lamp LA in power failure. The emergency lighting circuit 2 comprises a diode bridge DB that normally rectifies the AC voltage of the service AC power source E, at first and second batteries B1, B2 that are charged by this diode bridge DB, a decision circuit 3 that determines the state of these first and second batteries B1, B2, an LED display means LED that displays the result of this decision circuit 3, a lighting circuit 4 that lights the discharge lamp LA by the first and second batteries, B1, B2 in power failure, and a switching circuit 5 that normally switches over to the normal lighting circuit 1 and switches over to the emergency circuit 2 in power failure. |
