PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a battery, and the battery using the separator that can constitute the battery improved in a basic battery characteristic and a charge-discharge cycle characteristic in a secondary battery such as a lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: This separator for the battery is constituted by forming a thin film of at least one kind of compound selected from a group of a specific sulfide compound, a polysulfide compound, a sulfone compound, a sulfur contained ring compound and a crown ether compound, on one face or both faces of a polyolefine fine porous film. The battery is constituted using the separator. |
