PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook and eye hinge fitting structure for a gate capable of reliably adjusting the position of a hook and eye hinge and fitting and fixing it to the gate and preventing a door side hook and eye hinge back plate from being released when the gate is opened or closed after the hook and eye hinge is fitted and fixed. SOLUTION: A fitting section 3 having a nearly U-shaped cross section in which the door side hook and eye hinge back plate 2 is stored is formed on the side end of the gate 1. Fitting pieces 4 regulating the door side hook and eye hinge back plate 2 not to be released are protruded inward from both end edges of the fitting section 3. A plurality of coupling grooves 5 are provided on the outside of the fitting pieces 4, and coupling grooves 6 to be meshed with the coupling grooves 5 are provided on the hook and eye hinge. The hook and eye hinge 7 is slidingly adjusted to a desired position to be fitted and fixed to the gate 1 via the door side hook and eye hinge back plate 2 while the coupling grooves 5 are meshed with the coupling grooves 6.
