PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter plate capable of coping with the expansion and contraction of a conveyor chain even when the conveyor chain is expanded and contracted within a fixed range and capable of using the chain for a prolonged term and a refuse removing device using the filter plate. SOLUTION: In the filter plates, in which the first shaft hole of the filter plate and the second shaft hole of another filter plate are superposed alternately, to which a large number of connecting shafts stretched between a pair of the conveyor chains connected to the refuse removing device in an endless manner and circulated are attached pivotally and which can form endless beltlike filter plate groups, either one shaft hole of the first shaft hole or the second shaft hole is formed in size longer in at least the chain traction direction than the size of the connecting shaft inserted into the shaft hole.
