PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foundation for borders of the hair, with which conspicuity of surface of the skin in thinning hair can be controlled, the hair is dyed all over from borders of the hair to the tip and grey hair is obscured to make the hair look deep black and abundant, by dyeing a scalp itself. SOLUTION: This foundation for borders of the hair is obtained by formulating an oil agent and a wax agent as a base with an inorganic pigment as a dye and an antioxidant. This method using the foundation for borders of the hair comprises directly applying the foundation for borders of the hair to a scalp by a brush, dyeing the surface of the skin itself and then applying the foundation to the hair which is left uncoated in the action of the dyeing of the surface of the skin.
