PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a glass gob which realizes the function accompanying the floating of film without any hindrance and, moreover, is improved in breaking strength. SOLUTION: This manufacturing device of glass gob comprises a device for manufacturing a glass ball 2 having a sheet 1 and is constituted in such a manner that the sheet 1 has a flow passage 1.3 for introducing compressed gas, the flow passage 1.3 is buried in the material of the sheet 1 and is extended at a prescribed distance apart from an outlet surface 1.1 of the sheet 1 and the flow passage 1.3 is extended so as to be in the parallel or make an acute angle to the outlet surface 1.1.
