PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably prepare a polyacetal copolymer having excellent characteristics, such as impact resistance, rigidity, creep resistance melt-fluidity, moldability, sliding ability, and heat stability. SOLUTION: In this preparation method, a glycidyl compound having a hydroxyl group content of not higher than 5 mol/kg is used in the preparation of a polyacetal copolymer by copolymerizing 100 pts.wt. trioxane (A), 0.05-20 pts.wt. cyclic ether compound (B) capable of copolymerizing with trioxane, and 0.001-5 pts.wt. glycidyl compound (C).
