<p>The mixer and distributor, consisting of a bin (1) with a base (2) and side walls (3, 4) containing a mixing rotor (10), distributing (11) and transfer (12) augers, has at least one of the augers equipped with V-shaped cutters (15) that interact with teeth (16) on a support bar (19) extending between the bin's end walls. The cutters are located behind the active surfaces of the auger spiral(s), mounted on radial supporting plates fixed to the spiral(s). They lie at 10 - 45 deg to one another, with 3 - 6 cutters for each turn of the spiral.</p> |
