PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize clamping and accurate centering of a disk to cope with downsizing of equipment in a disk clamping mechanism used for a motor. SOLUTION: The motor is provided with a disk holding ring 7, three or more disk clamping pawls 8a, 8b, 8c housed inside of the disk holding ring, elastic springs 9a, 9b, 9c for pressing the disk clamping pawls in the direction of the radius, a shaft 3 for making the disk holding ring rotatable, and a bearing for bearing the shaft, and the disk holding ring 7 is constructed to have at least two or more eccentricity absorbing and correcting projections 13, 14 almost on the opposite side of the disk clamping pawls 8a, 8b, 8c, and the projections are sized to the range of 40μm±20μm.
