PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body whose display can be concealed when not in use. SOLUTION: The display body 1 is constituted of a display section 21 and a one-way mirror 22 laminated on the display part 21. A surface light-emitting panel 23 of the display section 21 is constituted of EL(electroluminescence), and a liquid crystal panel 31 of the display section 21 transmits light from the surface light-emitting panel 23. The liquid crystal panel 31 is equipped with a sensitivity display part 13 and a battery residual amount display section 15 in a state display area 32, and with a contents display section 18 for displaying characters, etc., in the contents display area 42. The one-way mirror 22 is coated with a reflecting film on one side and reflects light from upper surface and transmits the light from under surface. A metal colored translucent area 62 is formed on a position above the contents display area 42.
