PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately assemble and test a valve group and a coil group by constituting a fuel injector into a module structure. SOLUTION: This fuel injector is provided with a valve group sub-assembly 200 and a coil group sub-assembly 300. The valve group sub-assembly is provided with a tube assembly, a sheet 250, an armature assembly 260, a member pressurizing the armature assembly toward the sheet, and a filter assembly 282. The filter assembly is engaged with a member and adjusts the pressurizing force of the member. A first fitting part is provided and the coil group sub-assembly is provided with a solenoid coil and a second fitting part.
