<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a peripheral circuit with a power- saving function more. SOLUTION: When external access is detected, data corresponding to a non-access time before the detection are held as a history flag and the time of transition from a normal mode to a power-saving mode when no access is gained is varied and controlled corresponding to the history flag. Consequently, if the non-access time which has lasted before the access detection becomes long, namely, when rare access is gained, the time of the transition to the power- saving mode when no access is gained after the access detection is shortened and the continuance of the normal mode becomes short, so that the power consumption of the internal peripheral circuit is reduced.</p> |
