PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constituting an integrated optical time division multiplexer by which the propagation loss of cross talk between high frequency channels or a high frequency electric signal is suppressed, and high frequency electrical wiring is made easy. SOLUTION: In the method for constituting the integrating optical time division multiplexer which is provided with an optical demultiplexer, N pieces of electric field absorption type optical modulators, an optical multiplexer, and a substrate for integrating the N pieces optical waveguides, and outputs the multiplex optical signal line of a bit rate N f0 from the optical multiplexer, the N pieces of optical waveguides are formed so that each electric field absorption type optical modulator is arranged at a different position of the end of the substrate, respectively, and electrical wiring which supplies an electric modulating signal for driving each electric field absorption type optical modulator is limited to the end of the substrate. |
