PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which is convenient even when the remaining amount of a recording material necessary to record image data with a regular color is less than a specific value. SOLUTION: When the recorder is set so that the received image data may be recorded with a color different from the regular color, i.e., another color if the remaining amount of toner necessary to record the received image data in the regular color is less than the specific value, a recording part 50 records the received image data with the different color. The recording of the received image data is therefore not interrupted until the toner needed to record the received image data with the regular color is supplied and the remaining amount of the toner becomes equal to or more than the specific amount after the remaining amount of the toner becomes less than the specific value. Consequently, the received image data which requires immediacy can immediately be obtained. Thus, facsimile equipment 1 with a copying function can be provided which is convenient even when the remaining amount of the toner needed to record the received image data with the regular color is less than the specific amount. |
