PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both an aqueous ink composition for a writing material, with which foam generation in ink is prevented and an excellent handwriting is obtained and the writing material including the ink composition. SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition comprises a colorant, water, a water-soluble organic solvent and a phosphonate and/or a phosphinate. The writing material includes the composition. |
