PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent high frequency heating device which is not lowered in the uniform heating property even the area ratio of the rotation area of a rotating wave guide against the bottom area of a heating chamber becomes smaller than a prescribed ratio. SOLUTION: By locating an upper surface 8a of an electric wave radiation means having directivity, installed in a formed part 3 formed to a heating chamber bottom surface 2, upper than the heating chamber bottom surface 2, a part of electric wave radiated from a wave guide is reflected at the slope of the formed part 3, and the rest of the electric wave passes through an upper plane of the formed part 3 and reflected at a side plane of the heating chamber. By making two kinds of electric wave radiation channels like above, an excellent high frequency heating device which does not lower the uniform heating property even the area ratio of the rotation area of a rotating wave guide against the bottom area of a heating chamber becomes smaller than a prescribed ratio, can be provided.
