PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which has excellent long term shelf stability and whose reflection layer has satisfactory weather resistance and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium constituted of a recording layer 2, the reflection layer 3, a protective layer 4 and the like on a substrate, a silver alloy consisting essentially of silver and containing 0.1-15 atom % rare earth metal, preferably neodymium is formed into the reflection layer 3. |
